Actions that put a spring in your step

RJW"Let us not become weary in doing good”  Galatians 6:9

As we walk on in this lockdown, or as one family member recently said to me “plodding along” let us keep doing good even if it is a plod. Plodding on your walk each day but turning it to prayer. Plodding on in your Zoom mid-week group even when you’re all zoomed out. Plodding on packing another food bank box wondering if the need will ever stop. Plodding on as we mark one year since the start of the first national lockdown.

Together all our plodding is part of the solution as we follow a faithful God who patiently and faithfully never gives up on us.

In this together

Get involved with Prayer Walk 21. More than ever, the nation is in urgent need of our prayers. Join us putting this into action daily while doing ordinary things!

23rd March is the National Day of Reflection. Alongside Marie Curie, we are encouraging churches to mark this day of support for the bereaved. Invite your community to your church to pause outside, lay a daffodil, and take a moment of silence to remember and celebrate lives lost. At difficult times like this our Hope In Uncertain Times booklet is one way we can point to the hope Jesus gives. Here are other ways you can support your community.
Save the Date

‘We’re doing some great research on the impact of the pandemic on church growth, in partnership with Church of England and Methodist Church, to help us understand who has joined church, who’s left and why. Be the first for details.’

Keep moving, keep praying
The sun is coming out and we’re hopeful about leaving lockdown. Our communities have been hit hard by the pandemic: our schools, hospitals, neighbours, churches, friends and families, so let’s not grow tired, and keep praying while on your daily walk. We have a goal of everyone sharing 100 walks to social media to encourage one another and show the nation we care, so next time you’re out and about in pairs or solo, grab your phone and tag us @HopeTogether #prayerwalk21
