February is a time of year when we think about love.

It is so important for us all to be loved and to love. To know the love God has shown us in Jesus is the most important of all.

‘Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.’ 1John 4:7

Our Faithful Queen launches!

We are excited about our new Platinum Jubilee book, Our Faithful Queen. It’s an ideal conversation-starter to talk with friends and relatives about the Queen, especially those who have a lot of love for her, her faith, prayer and the Bible. This 64-page gift book full of photos includes rarely-seen prayers from a book of devotions written for the Queen to use from 1 May to 2 June 1953 – her Coronation Day.

We hope churches will buy them to give away to guests at Platinum Jubilee events. Books that are ordered, will dispatch in mid-March.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Our latest Happyland book, The Girl Who Grew Up To Be Queen, is a Platinum Jubilee edition! It uses the characters to talk about the Queen’s faith and comes with free downloadable resources that you can find at www.theplatinumjubilee.com. Adults and children can read, watch, play and sing the story together. Great for a family celebration.

Mark’s Gospels go global

We have begun sharing the hope of Jesus’ life and resurrection with millennials in Ukraine. Co-produced with Biblica, with Biblica, the new contemporary Russian translation, equivalent to the NIV, is being distributed in partnership with Steiner, who has ‘a passion to reach young people who would not walk into a church’.

Although many will understand Russian, a Ukrainian edition is also due for release later this year. This comes at a crucial time. It is great that the good news will reach those in need!

Sing a song of service

As you may already know, HOPE has commissioned a Platinum Jubilee anthem! Choirs from around the Commonwealth are invited to send us a recording of the anthem Rise Up & Serve; the winners will be included in a YouTube version with choirs and singers from around the world.

The YEC conference change.

We are sad to announce that we will no longer be able to run our live in-person events for YEC this year. Instead we are delighted to share that we will be running a FREE online conference with a shortened programme, which will utilise BRAND NEW sessions from across our 3 locations. This will run on the 5th March from 9.30-1.30 and will be available on TheYECUK YouTube channel.

We encourage you to gather, hold watch parties and connect. We will also be releasing further content at the end of the conference to equip and resource you.
