Jubilee New Testaments a storm!Great Baddow street party

NTJubileeWe have been overjoyed at all the happy stories coming back about the Diamond Jubilee Souvenir New Testaments both on the ground and covered in the media. They have gone down a storm and been much more popular than we could have imagined. The feedback is overwhelmingly positive and Churches have been excited to see people taking them, treasuring them and being genuinely thrilled by the gift.  See Facebook page for more.

Radio 2's breakfast show, hosted by Chris Evans, remains the nation's favourite morning listen with 9.2 million listeners weekly. Chris was given a Diamond Jubilee New Testament by Sharon Grenham-Toze Coordinating Chaplain of Bedford Prison when she did her Pause for Thought and he said he will read it. 29th May on ITV News at 10 there was a feature on Pastor Winnie Hylton and her perspective on being an Immigrant in Britain. Local Stories
The DJNT is being used by large and small, rural and urban churches and individuals of all denominations. Over the Jubilee weekend and afterward they are being given away free to neighbours, work colleagues, schools, Boys Brigade, distributed at Big Jubilee Lunches, local street parties and even to 40 orphans in Cambodia! Here are just some of the stories being posted online:

Ebenezer Church, Bristol - 1000 copies to children in local schools.
Woosehill Church, Wokingham is presenting young people on the estate with these commemorative New Testaments during May and June.
Pendlebury, Swinton, Manchester are giving away 1000 DJNTs
