Let's unite in prayer

Today, Monday 20th February marks nine years since the conflict between Ukraine and Russia began when they invaded Crimea. Then on Friday 24th February, it is one year on since the escalation when a significant invasion from Russia began. This conflict has affected so many young people in Ukraine and the continent. It is the first war on this continent in this century, so for most young people it is the only one they will remember.

Ukrainian young people have been displaced from their homes and families, and they have been affected mentally, with concerns about what the future of the world they know will look like. We are choosing to spend this week praying for peace in Ukraine, restoration to a nation torn apart by war and a bright future for Ukraine and its young people.

Get the gospel to Ukrainians

You may know we have also published a Ukrainian edition of our Mark's Gospel in partnership with Biblica so the story of Jesus can be read by those who read and speak Ukrainian. You can purchase a copy that can be shared with Ukrainian refugees in your area.

Hope through prayer and listening

As we build towards Hope 23-24 we are encouraging everyone, young and old, who wants to be part of the year of the united mission, to spend this season praying and listening. Most importantly for us as youth leaders, listening to and praying for young people, BUT also listening and praying WITH young people to involve them in the journey. The OIKOS prayer app and the praying and listening resources on Hope Together can help you do this really well.

Let's Amplify

Amplify Applications for 2023/24 are now open! We started the Amplify year with a residential in the Midlands back in October. We then launched this incredible group of young evangelists back into their worlds to reach many of their peers for Jesus and stir their churches for evangelism!

We are already hearing stories of breakthroughs, transformation and young people taking steps towards Jesus. Please pray for this amazing group as they are further invested in through monthly and specialist mentoring and opportunities to share what God is doing on national platforms.
