Rest, Refresh, Reset

I hope you have taken time to rest this summer, and if not yet, that you can soon. We need rest more than ever, to be refreshed and ready for this next season. Maybe some of us even need a reset to really think about why we do what we do!

This generation is hungrier than ever, and they want to give their lives to something more than just being a ‘nice Christian’. They want to change the world like the first disciples of Jesus did. We are praying for you as youth workers, leaders and school workers that as you start the year and schools return, you are refreshed and ready to play your part in all that God has in front of you.

New term, new prayers

What if, one day, every school in the UK had a Church praying for it and actively seeking to serve it? The National Day of Prayer for Schools is a big part of seeing that realised.

We recognise that while many children and young people in the UK are not actively engaged in a local Church, 99% of them are in mainstream education. Let’s join together to pray for our local schools. We would love you to use OIKOS Prayer app to show us where you are praying and encourage others too.
